Nose : We begin by the softness of the fruits. We recognize some quince but also apples that bring us on the cider lands. We find some candle wax, a bit of pepper and vanilla but it is indeed the fruitiness that calls the tune. There is also a rustic supply (cut grass, floral bouquet) which makes it more springtimey. We then perceive an oily patina for this pleasant nose that invites us on a sunny stroll. The opening reinforces the apple and the wax and settles some plum notes with a bit of farm cream. A nice surprise.
Mouth : The texture is very smooth, upholstering the mouth. The reduction is excellent once again. Under its bulk (a very syrupy, dense presence), we find notes of cut grass, cider and white pepper. The second part of the mouth brings citrus fruits (grapefruit) all while bringing malt and lemon zest. There is also a bit of candy sugar (cotton candy). It is a bit less light in mouth than at nose which brings a little disappointment. It remains pleasant though.
Finish : We have a beautiful length. We end up softly on cider, malt and citrus fruits. The aftertaste gains some spices and vegetal traits.
