Nose : At first, we hugely sense the alcohol with a lightly floral background. The airing should be beneficial. Some chocolate and a bit of chestnut cream, but we feel that it still keeps something back. Water brings us fruits on the foreground (bananas, pineapple, apricots). A pleasant start.
Mouth : It is very powerful (water can only loosen it) with quite a lot of good dark chocolate, fruits (undefinable with that much alcohol), a hint of salt, with an upholstering impression over the palate. It is pleasant but too alcoholic. The water balances the whole around chocolate, malt, a dash of pineapple but also quite a lot of pepper.
Finish : it is powerful with some chocolate and a bit of grain. We find again the very peppery notes. The finish is unbalanced, not sufficiently sweet, too spicy.
