Coming from the work of the « Master of Malt » shop, That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles 50cl flasks with catchy and off the wall labels. Here is the fourth (already) batch of Ardbeg from their selection…
Nose : We have a vegetal peat amplified by some candy sugar and caramelized green apple. The opening makes it more austere with minerals and iodine.
Mouth : We still have a very vegetal peat but that grows richer with an ashy aspect with a bit of butter and malt. The second part of the mouth brings its share of green apples. It then remains quite sweet, less mineral, easier (milk chocolate). The alcohol is well integrated.
Finish : Slightly drier with a lemony vegetal peat. The aftertaste brings its share of ashes alongside medicinal touches.
