Nose : We perceive some fresh peaches and a hint of citrus fruits (orange and mandarin). The whole remains quite sweet. The airing opens it on chestnut and vanilla.
Mouth : We find some malt decorated with a dash of chestnut. There are also spices and vanilla. In mouth, it lacks a bit of amplitude and sweetness with respect to the nose. It’s simple but still pleasant.
Finish : A bit short, falling back on vanilla and round spices notes (lingering towards bitter almonds).
The round nose is well made, even if it is a bit simple in the end... Then, it becomes less interesting. In mouth, it lacks body, remaining around the malt, but without real unbalance, with softness. The finish is however a bit short. In the end, a dram a bit dull, but far from unpleasant.
