Nose : A lot of softness in this first nose. It is very creamy and very fruity : apples, pears, vanilla and pretty obvious cherry notes. It is flattering, easy and instantaneous. Some beautiful honey, brown sugar and maple syrup notes. A whisky we could describe as springtimey with its flowers and honey notes. A balanced, fresh nose thanks to mint scents and not alcoholic. The first step is a success !
Mouth : It ‘s very light. The mouth tends more towards the sherry, even if the typical bourbon-aging notes are here. Low bitterness. Some sugar, a bit woody. Some milky chocolate notes, a bit of coffee, dark chocolate, violet and vanilla. It is well done and quite balanced, but it lacks pep’s and character.
Finish : Of correct length on mint, cereals and vanilla.
